Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb store-bought gnocchi or homemade, if preferred
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add gnocchi to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Lower the heat to medium, then melt the butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in lemon zest, juice, and fresh herbs. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Return the crispy gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and garnish with extra parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a protein boost, add cooked shrimp or grilled chicken to the dish.
  • Use gluten-free gnocchi to make this recipe gluten-free.
