Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or diced cooked ham for variety
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Whisk in milk and egg until smooth. Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, and mini pepperoni.
  • Fill Muffin Tin: Spoon the mixture into the prepared mini muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  • Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the puffs are golden and cooked through.
  • Serve with Sauce: Let cool slightly, then serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Substitute pepperoni with diced veggies for a vegetarian version.
  • Use a cookie cutter to make fun-shaped pepperoni pieces for extra kid appeal.
  • These freeze well; reheat in a toaster oven or microwave.
